subtypes
Djanii (Janii subtype)
The primary species of Al'Vishan. Djanii govern most of civilized societies within the realm. They are magical creatures said to be able to grant wishes. However, all Djanii know that if they ever just granted a wish rather than working towards it, the shortcut could end their life.
Leaphani (Janii subtype)
The Leaphani are more akin to leprechauns than genies of legend. The most notable feature for them might actually be their filled horns.
- Filled glasslike horns
- Lion like tail
- Fur on wrists and ankles
- 3 Fingers
- Fur at base of spine stretching out onto tail (optional)
Leaphani are often seen with a mystical coin or mystical coin pouch that they created as part of their coming of age. The coin or pouch is linked to them in much the same way that their cuffs are.
The horns are typically filled with a liquid that compliments their personality, though it is rather uncommon to have poisons, potions, or alcohol in the horns it is not unheard of (requires a trait item). The liquid in the horns is something that a leaphani can freely manifest outside of their own bodies. The supply is not endless as it does deplete their magic, and should they ever force themselves to conjure too much of their liquid it may cause fractures and breaks in their horns slowly diminishing their usage over time.
Buvani (Janii subtype)
Buvani are more akin to nine-tailed foxes with a touch of eldritch horrors upon occassion. All of them have patterned or mottled skin, and their multiple tails speak of their journey through mystic powers. Each tail is connected to a strong moment in their life starting with one at birth and growing to have up to nine.
- Stained glass looking horns
- Multiple tails (2-3)
- Lion or Panther in shape.
- Shoulder fur
- Lower leg fur
